<sighs wearily> I really want to work on one of my stories and have a ton of poem ideas, but an acute lack of inspiration and motivation afflict me mercilessly. Not to forget, being so tired and mentally exhausted from my second year of college.

I slacked off last year, not tending to my studies with enough intensity -- don't get me wrong, I got all A's, but did not apply myself to holding onto all the knowledge. So this quarter I am trying to work hard to get everything. Philosophy especially now, my professor is terrible, he only talks (he doesn't even follow the Socratic Method or the idea of dialogue as medium of teaching), never attempts to engage us, is prone to going off on tangential threads of reasoning that are of dubious value, and can't write worth a spoon (he hasn't heard of articles apparently, it's not written "soul is metaphysical", it's "the soul is metaphysical" darn it). So i decided to understand everything from Taoism to the Aristotelian Principle on my own so I don't just get through it, but retain some of what I learn. It's turning out to need a lot of deep reading, my "lofty" idea of trying to play philosopher.

So all and all, with two other classes and trying to prepare to transfer from my current school to another and get my undergraduate degree in Psychology, my creative endeavors take a backseat. By the time I get free time, I am so dead that nothing comes out. Meh, I know I should be happy with all I have, but my mind needs to release some creative pressure.

I'm considering use my mic/headset to record maybe ten minutes a day of ideas or random thoughts then use it later. Typing takes me awhile longer because of my disease and all. Adapting is the name of the game. If I adapt my life to my disability then Gods be damned, I can adapt my creativity to my life!

Now for sleep!
